Langtry’s rich history dates back to 1888 when British actress Lillie Langtry purchased the stunning Lake County property for her winery. Located in the Guenoc Valley of Lake County, the 23,000-acre estate offers a pristine parkland of lush vineyards, oak-studded savannahs, high ridges, clear lakes, and sweeping panoramic views. In 1981, Guenoc Valley became the first single-proprietor AVA in the country with Langtry as its sole producer. From the single-vineyard estate wines to the Lake County tier, Langtry Estate offers a wide array of flavors to satisfy every palate and occasion.
Taste your way through our current release wines and enjoy a guided tour of our winery and cellar, where you will learn about our vineyards and winemaking process. Complete the experience with a glass of wine and gourmet boxed lunch or buffet served at picnic tables overlooking the Guenoc Valley (weather permitting).
