Meritage Red

2006 Guenoc Meritage Red Wine
The 2006 Guenoc Meritage is a complex blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals. The wine is intense in color, with aromas of cassis, spice and leather. Full-bodied and luscious on the palate with layers of plum, black cherry and chocolate The ripe tannins give way to a smooth finish.

Winemaking Notes:
Traditional fermentation in stainless tanks, before aging in French and American oak barrels for 12 months. The 2006 Meritage Red pairs well with rack of lamb, grilled steak, and full flavored cheeses.

Blending varietals: 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 24% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc
