LAKE COUNTY

Northern California's picturesque Lake County wine region is located just 90 miles north of San Francisco. The region, which is focused around Clear Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in California, offers winery tourism, outdoor recreation, and spectacular scenery. Although traditionally recognized for producing Sauvignon Blanc, Lake County wine producers are also crafting distinguished Petite Sirahs, Cabernets, Zinfandels and Chardonnays.

WELCOME TO LANGTRY ESTATE!

Langtry Estate & Vineyards, located in Middletown in the Guenoc Valley, is Lake County's most historic winery. Producers of the Guenoc and Langtry wines, we have access to hundreds of acres of vineyards, and a wealth of resources for distinctive, world class wines. Guenoc Valley sits at a high elevation in southern Lake County, ranging from 700 to 1,200 feet above sea level. The clear, warm days and cool nights favor a number of important grape varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
